From the get-go, the brand has used recycled materials for its jewelry production with a focus on slow fashion by creating pieces that have a life-long cycle.

THERESIA KYALO™ based in Nairobi, Kenya is a jewelry brand dedicated to showcasing avante garde and new line techniques of African heritage. Theresia’s jewelry pieces explore and are often moulded with Kenyan and African cultures in mind. The designer works with small artisanal communities in Kenya as a way to harness and keep alive long standing techniques.
Her new age process infuses her different take on brass, horn and bone embellishments. The brand sources and uses remnants and discards of these said materials from other projects and other brands. These materials would have been otherwise been discarded making THERESIA KYALO™ a sustainable brand and eco friendly brand.

is inspired “by everyday people and for everyday people”. Our pieces are made
from local materials that include brass, recycled bone, and beads.
