Evey K Boutique ‘FASHIONLINER’ is a mobile boutique owned and operated by Evelyn Knuckles. Evey, as her friends call her, moved to Denver 15 years-ago from Los Angeles and noticed that the Denver fashion scene needed a bit of LA and New York fashion. Having worked in LA doing styling and commercial work, her love for styling others so began.
Evey’s first store was a brick and mortar which was located in Cherry Creek for 6 years prior to moving it to the Lowry Town Center. It was, at that time, that Evey got intrigued with the idea of a mobile boutique, which made sense since she was doing many events throughout the city and at private homes. She started her research, took a year to get the plans in motion and eventually transitioned from the brick and mortar to her mobile boutique, which worked perfectly for her family and has given her the flexibility to move around and share fashion with women all over Denver.
FASHIONLINER was created so Evey could work with clients individually and find them pieces that will broaden their wardrobe without breaking the bank. She wants her clients to love their choices and feel great about their purchases. When buying, Evey searches for up and coming designers to support who have fashion forward pieces to offer from as far as Australia, London and New York. Her inventory is always kept fresh and new arrivals come in weekly. She caters to all types of women, from 25 to 60 and her success is mostly attributed to the fact that her clients like the variety of designers she brings to Denver. She prides herself on impeccable customer service and appreciates the support from her loyal clients that continue to shop at the FASHIONLINER.
Since the inception of her mobile boutique, Evey has had to come to terms with the parking issue. Her solution was to find the right events and search for new areas in and around Denver to bring the FASHIONLINER to her customers. Social media is a huge piece to her business and she is constantly updating her whereabouts with posts on her website. Clients like to know that she will be at a particular location twice a month, and social media has improved communication with her clients as she learns from them as well—after all this is what customer service is all about!
Coming to work every day in the FASHIONLINER is always something different, with every event and location bringing a different adventure and new clients to be inspired. “It’s my favorite thing! We always say “What Happens in the Truck Stays in the Truck” because we have way too much fun!!”
